GITAM School of Technology conducts its common GITAM Admission Test (GAT). Students seeking admission to BA courses at GITAM must appear for the aforementioned examination. After the result declaration of GAT, the admission committee of the institute prepares a rank list based on the GAT scores. Students are selected based on their respective rank and seat intake.

GITAM School of Technology admits students to its BA courses based on merit in the GAT exam. This exam is generally held in many different cycles. For GITAM GAT Cycle 5 the result was announced in May, 2024. 

GITAM SOT BA fees is INR 3.3 Lacs for a course duration of three to four years as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is, however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative. This fee comprises of tuition for three years. Year-wise tuition fee in INR is tabulated below:

BA at GITAM School of Technology is a three years undergraduate programme. The course is offered with six different specialisations. Admission to each of specialisation is made based on students' scores in the GAT (Gitam Admission Test). In order to be eligible for the GAT exam, a student must have obtained 50 percent marks in Class 12 in any discipline. In addition to that, the candidate must have also qualified Gitam Admission Test.

GITAM School of Technology offers a three years UG-level BA programme.  The programme is offered with six different specialisations. These specialisation include Economics, English, History, Mass Communication, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Visual Communication. Each specialisation consists of various core and open elective subjects for students to choose from. The course outlet of GITAM SOT gives students various choices of subjects to choose the ones that align with their interests.

The total number of seats available for MBA at GITAM University, Gurgaon, is 60. The total tuition fee for a two-year MBA program is INR 1.8 Lakhs. Apart from this, the students may need to pay some additional charges like hostel fees and application fees.

For admission to the MCA programme at GITAM Institute, candidate must have passed in any degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and Mathematics/Statistics at +2 level or degree level or equivalent examination. Apart from this, candidates need to clear any of the APICET, or GITAM GAT entrance test . Graduation final year students may also apply on a provisional basis. 

GITAM University Visakhapatnam BCom course is a three-year course which is divided into six semesters. Candidates are required to achieve a minimum credit requirement under each category to gain their BCom degree from GITAM University. The GITAM BCom course includes the following: 

• University Core 
• Faculty Core 
• Programme Core
• Open Elective 

Candidates while applying for admission to the BCom programme must pay GITAM Visakhapatnam BCom application fees 2024 of INR 1,200. This application fee paid during the time of registration is non-refundable and includes the fee for GITAM Admission Test as well. This fee can be paid online. 

Candidates while applying for BCom admission offered at GITAM Visakhapatnam must have following documents ready with them in the soft copy which must be uploaded on the University's official website. Given below is the list of all such documents:

• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet 
• GAT scorecard (if available)
• Transfer/ Migration certificate
• Conduct certificate
• Self-attested copy of Aadhaar Card (both student and parent)
• Passport size photographs
• Category/ Community certificate (for candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC category)
