You don't need a GMAT waiver if submitting the GRE score.  The university will review your GRE score as equivalent for MBA admissions, unless otherwise specified by the program. In short, you need to submit score of any one exam, if the university accepts both.

Columbia University does not set any minimum eligible scores for international students willing to join the master's programs. However, it is recommended to aim score above 320 on the GRE and over 700 on GMAT for successful admission. In addition, students who scored or performed well academically and were involved in relevant internships may get some sort of relief in standardized test scores. Columbia University is tough to get into for international students, and that is why they must aim to score much higher than the recommended scores.

No, the GMAT exam results are usually not delayed. The GMAT results are released within the given timeframe. Though there are no delays, in case there are any, the GMAC will notify way before time so that applicants do not panic.

Applicants who score anywhere between 725 and 805 on the GMAT are in the top 1% scorers. The reason why the top 1% GMAT scores are between this range is that the percentile is nearly 99-100%, which means almost a perfect GMAT score to aim for some of the most competitive B-schools in the world.

Yes, it is possible to study in the US, without taking the GRE or GMAT exam, as a number of universities in USA, have now started waiving off the requirement, for admission to non STEM courses, for students with a solid academic background, relevant work experience, or a degree from an English speaking nation.

University of Dayton, Pace University, Villanova University and Sonoma State University are some popular univeristies in USA, known to offer GMAT and GRE free admissions.

While Wharton UPenn does not have any cutoff for Indian students, they prefer to submit it to stand out . International students with an Engineering and Tech background aim to score a GMAT score of 730+ and a GRE score of 325+. International students who want to get admitted to Wharton must focus on various factors, including exceptional work experience, a recommendation letter, and an interview, rather than only test scores, which do not guarantee admission.
