Candidates must have the following in order to apply for IIT Goa:
- Scanned copies of colored photograph & signature
- Scanned copies of birth certificate
- Scanned copies of passing certificate and qualifying mark sheet of Class 10, Class 12, graduation and post-graduation (as applicable)
- Scanned copies of entrance examination scorecard
- Caste certificate
- Category certificate (if applicable)

The application process for most or all courses is completely online. Candidates seeking admission to two of the most popular courses of IIT Goa, i.e., BTech and MTech must apply via the following websites:
- BTech and BSc/ BS aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 625 and INR 325 for girls. Read more. After qualifying JEE Main, students seeking admission to IIT Goa are required to apply for JEE Advanced.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 7902 and closing rank was 8909. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 2709 and 14463. Admission to BTech in Electrical Engineering in IIT Goa is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

IIT Goa JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the BTech cutoff scores ranged between 4654 and, 10653 for the General AII India category students. Among all the BTech specialisations, BTech in CSE is the most competitive specialisation. The Last Round for Computer Science and Engineering is 4654 for the General AI category.
Furthermore, according to IIT Goa OBC AI category cutoff 2024, the Last Round closing rank for Computer Science and Engineering is 1987.

The placements usually depends on your capabilities. Generally, the mass recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc., take a lot of students from the campus but if you're good with your coding skills and data structures then you can easily get into a good company with a package of around Rs 7-10 lakhs. BITS Goa Placements 2021 has been concluded with 91% placements.

BITS Goa has an active placement cell that conducts placement drives every year. The institute maintains a placement percentage of 90% & more over the past years. BITS Goa Placements 2021 has been concluded with 91% placements. A total of 736 students among 880 registered students got placed.
