To apply for a B.E. or B.Tech at Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, you can appear for an entrance exam called Andhra Pradesh EAMCET conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The university does not accept direct admission for its courses.

The infrastructure is excellent. Wi-Fi is available, and it has good network speed. In labs, equipment, tools, and machinery are available. The library facility is good, classrooms are nice, and projectors are available. In hostels, facilities are convenient, food is average, and sports and games are well-provided.

According to the students, the quality of food at the hostel mess of KITS is generally satisfactory.
The quality of hostel food is very good, the menu is prepared by students themselves.
The hostel and the rooms are good they will be cleaned by workers, there is free wifi in the college and hostel.

The College has a full-fledged Placement Cell which has a specially designated Placement Officer and faculty from various departments as placement coordinators.
Placements: Our college provides great facilities for our course, like labs, well-knowledgeable faculty, and students' needed resources. Around 88 percent of students are enrolled in our course. On our campus, students receive the highest package of 30 lakhs and an average package of 15 lakhs.

Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). Vacant seats will be filled based on marks obtained in 10+2.
