Yes, Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects to apply for BTech at Gopalan College of Engineering and Management. Candidates must have studies these subjects in Class 12 along with one of the optional subjects such as namely, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Electronics and Computer Science. The minimum aggregate required in Class 12 is 45% for the BTech programme.

Aspirants who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 45% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Electronics and Computer Science are eligible to apply for Gopalan College of Engineering and Management BTech course.
There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and other backward classes.
