Admission to Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology B.E./B.Tech courses is mostly on the basis of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). But in case of some vacant seats remaining after WBJEE counseling rounds, decentralized counseling (mop-up round) may be conducted by the college for domiciled candidates of West Bengal, yet even in that case, a valid WBJEE merit rank is mandatory.
