With 420 NEET marks as a general female candidate with Uttarakhand domicile, it might be difficult to get into a state government seat for BPT course. If your budget approves, you can get into private colleges.

With a NEET 2026 rank of 120343, you may have a chance at state qouta government seats if you belong to reserved categories (such as SC or ST) or alternative government courses like BAMS (Ayurveda).

If you mention your home state, I can share you list of colleges.

It might be difficult to secure a seat if you are from general category and looking to secure under AIQ. But, you have a fair chance of admission to BDS programme at Government Dental College and Hospital, Patiala, if you belong to an EWS, OBC, or SC/ST category.

Realistically, no. Government Dental Colleges in Maharashtra have highly competitive cut-offs. General category candidates usually need a NEET score well above 580+ to secure a government seat. However, a score of 300 may qualify you for specific institutional quotas or management seats in private dental colleges.

Without a doubt, the government colleges like KGMU and BHU are the best for their academic brand, clinical exposure and money value, with annual fees as low as INR 54900. Getting seats is very tough and requires very high NEET scores. Private colleges are more accessible for the NEET mid-performers and boast modern infrastructure, international tie-ups and satisfactory placement assistance. The suitable option depends purely on your NEET mark and budget.
