GBPUAT offers modern amenities with a state of the art infrastructure to its undergraduate and postgraduate students. Aspiring students wishing to join GBPUAT are required to pay a certain amount as fees. GBPUAT fee structure for all courses consists of various components, namely tuition, security deposit, and hostel fee, etc. Among these components, some are to be paid only once during GBPUAT admission, while the remaining are charged according to the fee guidelines. GBPUAT fee ranges between INR 41,420 - 25,00,000.

GBPUAT admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The university conducts Pantnagar University Entrance Exam (GBPUAT) for admission to various UG and PG courses.

The GBPUAT Cutoff is based on the total number of applicants who appear for the exam. The difficulty level of the exam and the final round is merit-based. The merit list of the GBPUST exam is based on the total marks scored by students. 

There are a total of 200 MCQs in the GBPUAT exam. The exam consists of 600 marks. For every right answer, students get 3 marks, and for an incorrect answer, one mark is deducted. 

The Pantnagar entrance exam is of 3 hours, and the exam language is Hindi and English.
