The Open University entry requirements varies by courses. Most of the courses at Open University have no formal GPA requirements.

Students only need to have an understanding of some basic concepts with regards to the area of studies they are applying to & demonstrate proficiency in verbal & written English.

For a course-by-course description of the Open University Admission Requirements students are advised to refer the official course page of the university.

Unitec Institute of Technology does not specify a minimum GPA requirement for international students applying to an undergraduate or postgraduate programme but does offer overall academic requirements. The requirements are different for different countries. For UG programs, the student must have high school graduation certificate with a min of 70% in at least 4 academic subjects. To take admission to UCSD MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering course, the applicants are required to have a BS/MS degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics from an accredited university. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. Other admission requirements are given below:

  • GRE test, not required (recommended)
  • English language proficiency test (TOEFL / IELTS / PTE)
  •  Statement of Purpose

For Admission to graduate programs, one needs to maintain a minimum GPA of 6.5-8.5/10 or 55%-70%.

Admissions to an undergraduate program requires the scores: 90,85,85,85,85 in 5 core subjects of the 12th standard.

The minimum GPA needed to be eligible for a study abroad program is the International equivalent of 3.3 on a 4.0. scale.

Amherst College does not specify any GPA requirements for international students.

The admission requirements international students must fulfil are mentioned below:

To get into the UofD MS in Software Engineering, a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required in Bachelor's degree. Also, note that a GPA of 2.7 or higher may be considered with the addition of pre-requisite courses and the approval of the department director / chair and Dean's office. Additionally, the following requirements must also be met:

  • Must have taken courses in programming language such as C+ or Java, Data Structures and Algorithms, Calculus, Machine Organization, and Discrete Mathematics
  • Also, submit IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5 / TOEFL score of 81 in iBT

For UG programs, the students must get a minimum GPA of 2.3 on a scale of 4.0,  so yes, a students would be meeting the Purdue University eligibility by having 2.7 on a scale of 4.0. Although, this university is considered difficult to get into as the Purdue University acceptance rate stands at 49.3% meaning out of every 100 applications, only 50 applicants are rolled out an offer letter.

The Jackie & Paul Garber Scholarship requires applicants to maintain a minimum GPA of 2.6 on a 4.0 scale, while the Barbara Brigliadoro Memorial Scholarship requires students to attain a minimum GPA of 3.0.

The minimum GPA needed to be eligible for admissions at Ramapo College stands at 3.0. on a 4.0. scale.

However, students who were actually able to secure admissions at the institute ranked among the top 20% of their graduating class & secured a GPA of 3.45 or a B+ grade.

International students are advised to submit respective admission applications as early as possibble to allow enough time for document processing & verification.
