GPA

For UG courses admission, the applicants should have completed high school and have a GPA of 2.5 or above. The university is test optional for SAT/ACT scores. On the other hand, to take admission to graduate courses, the applicants must have a Bachelor's degree with a UG GPA of 2.75 or better. Some courses may also require 3.0 or higher. A few of the documents required to apply to this university are letters of recommendation, academic transcripts, statement of purpose, English language proficiency score, etc.

Dakota State University generally requires a minimum GPA of 2.6 on a 4.0 scale for undergraduate admissions. For graduate programs, a GPA of 3.0 or higher is often preferred. Some programs, like the MSCS, require a minimum GPA of 3.0. 

UCLA does not have a specific GPA requirement for incoming freshman student athletes, while they are no minimum GPA for freshmen applicants. A 3.2 GPA is required for transfer applicants to be considered; however, a strong Academic record, including a high GPA still important for admission and for demonstrating Academic readiness for the university rigor.

Thompson Rivers University expects a minimum GPA of 3 on a 4-point scale from international undergraduate and graduate students. Some programs may expect a higher GPA along with the mandatory requirements. Students must fulfill the eligibility criteria by holding a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent for postgraduate studies and proof of high school completion for undergraduate studies.

Most universities ask for minimum 3.0 GPA out of 4.0. In Indian marks, that is around 65% to 70%. Some places may accept less also, but for top colleges, try to have higher score.

University of Texas at Dallas offers admissions for international students in three semesters such as Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. International students must meet all the entry-level requirements at UTD. International students can apply at University of Texas at Dallas through University Official Portal or Common Application Portal for both UG and PG programs. International students applying at UTD must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above on a scale of 4.0 to secure admission at the university. International students must submit all the essential documents along with their admission application.

As per the official website of the University of Houston, international students are required to have an equivalent GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. These students are also expected to demonstrate a level of English language proficiency, for which the minimum score requirements are mentioned below: 

• IELTS: 6.5 overall

• TOEFL iBT: 79

• Duolingo: 105
