Graphic designing is about both print projects and digital projects, while web design deals only with websites. Hence, web designers are responsible for creating websites that not only look great but also load quickly. Graphic designers do not do any programming whereas web designers have to take care of things like file size, image resolution, etc. Graphic/Web Design focuses on artistic skills, knowledge and design.

Usually candidates do not need to draw by hand. Thus, it is not mandatory to be good at drawing but a Graphic Designer need to use art/graphics to enhance as well as promote a product, enterprise etc. Although not necessarily required, drawing abilities might be useful for a graphic/web designer. Instead of using traditional drawing methods, graphic/web design software is used to create digital artwork and visual concepts.
