GRE or Graduate Record Examination is a standardized computer based exam conducted by the by Educational Testing Service (ETS). Many top business schools in the world offer admission in Business programs on the basis of GRE Score. This test access the aptitude of a student for abstract thinking. Score equal to 160 or above is a good enough to get admission in various courses. There are two types of GRE tests.
• GRE General Test
• GRE Subject Test
The duration for GRE General Test is 1 hour 58 minutes. While the duration of GRE subject test is 2 hours to 2 hours and 50 minutes (Depending on subjects).

340 is the highest score or full marks in GRE Exam. However, the ideal score depends on the university you are targeting for admission. You have to get 320 or above out of 340, for getting easy admission in to the top universities worldwide. Keep in mind that score equal to or above 75 percentile is considered good enough to apply for admission.

Yes, you can take GRE Exam at home. For that, you need book a slot of Graduate Record Examination in advance. Also, you need to arrange a desktop or laptop computer, speaker to hear the proctor, a microphone, a webcamera and a working internet connection.

Candidates wish to pursue their Masters or other PG courses can take the examination and it is recommended that test-takers should have a valid UG degree. Apart from this, there is no official eligibility for GRE exam. Students of any age and with any educational background can appear GRE Exam.

Yes, candidates from India, Bangladesh, China, Iran or Pakistan must take the GRE in order to be considered for the Technical University of Munich's (TUM) Master of Science in Computer Science program.
The required minimum scores are:
- Verbal Reasoning: no minimum score
- Quantitative Reasoning: 164
- Analytical Writing: 4.0
- Institution Code: 7806, Department code: 5199
Alternatively, a test result (score sheet) of the Indian GATE test can be submitted.
