He/she shall be allowed to improve his/her internal marks by Opting and appearing in the internal improvement examination. Once student opts for internal improvement the previous internal of the said subject will not be considered and his/her result will be treated on the basis of new internal.

A student who fails to appear semester-end examination/Practical Examination (Practical courses only)/study/exposure/industrial tour/Student READY programs shall be marked “Ab” (absent) and the value of “Ab” is to be taken as zero. He/she shall be givengrade (s) in such course (s) with zero value for the absence in the examination in which he/she fails to appear.

No, MTech in Chemical Engineering (Structural Engineering) is not offered at IIIT Surat. IIIT Surat currently offers only two BTech programmes, namely Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.

75% marks in 12th board examination. Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognised Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Candidate who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2023, are also eligible to appear. There is no age limit for the candidates.
