St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad or Xavier's, Ahmedabad is a higher education institute located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It was established in 1955, in what could be described as a daring act: there were no funds and no trained teachers available. However, they steadied the ship and overcame the odds. By 1959, the college owned a campus of 25 acres. The college today offers close to 15 undergraduate courses. The college is known for excellence in Science and Humanities studies. Admission into the college is based on the marks scored in 10+2 and a personal interview with the principal and/or his delegates.
