What I could make out of your query is that instead of going to college, you want to do diploma by distance education. Well, IGNOU has vast pool of courses from certificate course to PG & beyond all by distance learning only. There will definitely be a study centre in Ahmedabad. As per the notification issued on 1 Dec 16, all seats in Gujrat will be filled via GUJCET. In case of centrally funded Institutions, the entry is through JEE Mains. In special cases, wherein 50% seats in an institute are to be filled up on pan India basis, then these will also be filled via JEE Mains.
