Hello dear,
IPU admission process need the Candidate to give the exam which IPU conducts a common entrance test to register online through the official website of IPU . Once the CET results are declared, the university will conduct counseling sessions based on the merit list.After the counseling process, candidates will be offered seats in their preferred courses and colleges affiliated with IPU.

According to the past year's cutoff, the Vivekanad Institute of Professional Studies shuts their rank at 1800, hence the answer is yes, you may enroll in IP University. Accordingly, if you want to enroll in the VIP program, you must score between 1200 and 1400 in comparison to the previous year, and if you want to enroll in the IP Main University, you must score between 100 and 200.

My friend had applied it in 2021, and he says, 'might be 10k-11k appeared for it because in his gov CLG, he used to get meet people having 3.8k rank also. And there are only 2 gov CLG for BCA in IPU' so similar trend would be at this 2023 too.
Hope, got to know about the competition in it. It's not that much difficult to crack just revise integration and other math concept thoroughly.

A notification regarding the counselling process through CUET is released when vacant seats are left after all rounds of counselling. Based on details mentioned in the IPU brochure, the IPU CUET counselling procedure could be in the following manner:
STEP 1: Counselling Registeration
Candidates have to register (could be online/offline) for counselling. Details such as the aspirant name, programme code and other details have to be provided during registration. The registration fee is INR 1,500.

The counselling process for IPU BTech started on Jun 6. Currently, counselling is ongoing for various courses at GGSIPU. The document verification and seat allotment first round for BDes/MDes was carried out on Jul 28. IPU CUET counselling begins at the end if the seats are left vacant after the counselling rounds, wherein admission is based on merit in the national level exam or IPU CET. Aspirants shall frequently check the university website to stay updated related to the counselling schedule.

For Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University MCA admission, candidates need to appear for the NIMCET entrance test. IP University MCA (lateral) entry admission is based on the IPU CET entrance test. In case of vacant seats after counselling, GGSIPU will consider Common Entrance Test (CET), conducted by GGSIP University for MCA admission.
