The IPU CET question paper for B.Tech (Bio-Technology) includes questions from Physics Chemistry and either Mathematics or Biology (Botany and Zoology or Biotechnology at the Class 12 level. A total of 100 questions will be asked in IPU CET exam for B.Tech lateral entry and B.Tech (Bio-Technology) admission. Four answer choices be given for each question. Candidates must choose correct answer from options given. Total marks allotted to the question paper is 400.

In IPU CET for each correct answer, four marks will be given, and for each incorrect answer, one mark will be reduced. There are no marks deducted for unanswered questions. Examination is conducted for 2 hours 30 minutes. Candidates must know the marking scheme before attempting exam.
