After you have secured a rank, the college will announce its counselling dates. You will get a suitable college according to your rank. According to your preference, then you will be getting the colleges in 3rd round counselling.

IPU conducts its own exam (IPU CET M.Tech) for admission in its affiliated colleges. This is an offline exam conducted in May every year.

USICT is a government college, so at least on paper the faculty is better than other institutes. Being a government institute, its annual fees is less than half of some other private colleges, with better infrastructure (You should have a look at internet speeds here!)
Besides it has some moderate-to-good companies visiting their campus, that are better than all other colleges of IPU (Adobe, Samsung, MakeMyTrip, etc.)
