Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) was responsible for preparing IPU CET 2018 eligibility criteria. The candidates were required to satisfy the eligibility criteria of IPU CET 2018 for admissions into the B.Tech programmes offered by the institute. The required academic criteria as per the programme selected by the candidates have to be met. Inability to meet the set criteria leads to the disqualification of the candidate from appearing for the entrance examination. Therefore, it was essential for all candidates to thoroughly check the IPU CET eligibility criteria 2018 before registration. A number of seats are also reserved for the minority category candidates. These candidates will have to produce the proof of their category to gain a seat under the reservation criteria of IPU CET 2018. Delhi regional candidates: 85% seats are reserved for Delhi region candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any school/institute located in Delhi.
Seat allocation on the basis of merit list: The seats in Journalism and Mass Communication Colleges in Delhi will be filled through the IPUCET merit/rank list of the respective CET code prepared for Delhi region candidates.
Students with distance education with Delhi as a test centre: If the candidate has passed the qualifying examination through distance/open education system of any recognised university/institute and had their study centres in Delhi will be considered as Delhi region candidates provided they submit the proof of their study centre in Delhi.
