Gauhati University has not released any official placement statistics for BTech students after the placements drive of 2022. However, as per external sources, the highest package offered to BTech students was INR 6 LPA during the recent placement drive. These stats may vary further once the highest package offered is released by the university on the official website. In addition to this, a few placement details have been procured from the NIRF report 2022 for 4-year UG courses, the same are shown in the below table:

Guwahati University has not released any BTech specific placements data for the recruitment drive of 2022 or 2023 as of now. However, as per the verified students reviews available on Shiksha,

• Companies such as TCS, Wipro and BookMyShow have visited the campus of GU to hire the students of BTech
• Upto 70% students get job opportunities every year
• The monthly salary packages offered to students range between INR 20,000 and INR 50,000

The Guwahati University MBA placement details will be updated here as soon as released. The University has released the overall placement data for PG (2-year) courses. Out of 1,951 PG (2-year) graduates 421 were placed during the 2023 drive. Earlier, 398 out of 1,971 students were placed during 2022 placements.
