Eligibility for M.Sc in food and nutrition in Periyar University: Candidate who has completed B.Sc in Nutrition and Dietetics / B.Sc. Home Science / B. Sc. Catering / B.Sc. with PG Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics / Food Processing, B.Tech. / B.Sc. Food Technology, B.Sc. Life Science courses (Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry), UG Degree in Allied Health Science (B.Pharm), B.Voc (Food Science and Nutrition related disciplines) and Nursing from a recognised university.

Firstly, you need to contact the officials to know if they grant admission the 2nd year.

You just need HSC for this course in any stream.

The fees for M.Sc food and nutrition is INR 45,260. Admissions are done on the basis of graduation percentage.

You need to apply online and thereafter you need to appear for the entrance test conducted by the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University. Admission is through counseling based on the marks obtained in Entrance Test.
