For short distances (to towns like Hatfield, St Albans, and Watford) local buses and campus shuttles are better. These cost as low as GBP 1 (INR 129)/ride.

For longer travel, the UK's rail network is the better choice. A 16-25 Railcard can be used to travel for GBP 35 (INR 4.5 K) per month, and avail an 30-33% discount.

The University of Hertfordshire uses a holistic approach while assessing a student's profile.

They are more inclined towards the overall student potential rather than the academic scores.

The factors given below come under the holistic profile

  • Personal Statements
  • Interviews
  • Portfolios
  • Work experience for some courses

Yes, the University of Hertfordshire accepts students through the pathway or the foundation courses for students who do not meet the direct admission requirements  (at least 60 to 70%).

It is done through Hertfordshire International College (HIC).

Given below are pointers you need to look for -

  • HIC Courses help students with what they should know when in the program.
  • Indian students who have completed their 12th with a minimum of 50% or higher, with an IELTS band score of 4.5.

The University of Hertfordshire acceptance rate for Indian students is around 70%. This acceptance rate suggests that this university is moderately selective. Indian students who want to take admission to this university should have passed Class 12, if they want to take admission to UG courses. Those who want to take admission to PG courses, they should have a Bachelor's degree. IELTS score has to be submitted too.
