When it comes to Science and technology institute, Himalayan institute of Technology is one of the best institute in Dehradun particularly for agriculture, forestry and sciences. It has a rich industrial exposure as over 100 concerns are likely to invest in placements for the session 2023. Still, whether it is the 'best' might be relative, for Dehradun holds other awesome institutions such as Graphic Era and Doon University with comparable assets in certain disciplines and infrastructural facilities.

The Himalayan Institute of Technology consists of various departments, and it provides several undergraduate and postgraduate programs. This would comprise our core programs such as B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Forestry and Microbiology, B.Com. BCA and BBA. They also teach M.Sc Agriculture and Biotechnology programs. It is business-friendly with an added focus on practice and offers experimental learning across the institute but is most preferred by Science and management students.

The BBA programs of HIT charge one 60,000 for his/her first year and thereafter, 49,000 for further years. Hence, the entire three years fee sum up to approximately 1,58,000 in total. Fee structure, thus is rather cheap as compared to other institution; so HIT has all chances of becoming more plausible destination for the students to pursue any sort of qualification related to business administration.

The ranking of Himalayan Institute of Technology agriculture is not published and standardized across the major ranking systems. Its ranking may vary with criteria like the qualifications of the faculty, research output, infrastructure, and student satisfaction. It is not a ranked agricultural college in India but has a good reputation for practical approach and skill development focus. Rankings for prospective students should not be focused on, but other programme specifics, faculty expertise, and placement opportunities are preferable. Program quality may sometimes be known through recent reviews and industry connections.

Admission to BHM at Himalayan Institute of Technology (HIT) is also claimed to be relatively easy. Eligible candidates need to be an individual with a passing degree or equivalent 12th in any stream from recognised boards.
