Here is the procedure, first of all you have to write some entrance exams like CAT, MAT, GMAT and other state level exams, then apply for the colleges with the availability of the course you like and whose cutoff come under your score. Then, report in the college and that's it.

Both the departments or streams are different and one should only go to either of them with the personal interests and liking.
