Distance mode is not permitted rather MBA in tourism management through distance is possible. Ph.d requires research and devotion of quality time for the specialisation.

Christ, Bangalore and IGNOU are the only two good colleges for Ph.d in tourism management. You must have some work experience get admission in any of the above-mentioned universities.

You need to have at least 55% in your Master’s degree and you need to search for the institute offering the course. You also have to apply for the entrance exam and need to submit your research proposal.

You can go for Ph.D in general management which offers great flexibility into the development of skillsets like leadership, teamwork, ownership and risk taking.

As you have done part time MBA, then you have to find a job by your own. You should have good attitude. If you have some experience, then you may get salary up to Rs.30,000 per month from a decent company.
