Yes, you can apply for a Ph.D. at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology without NET.

NET/GATE is not compulsory. If you don't have it, you'll usually need to:

  • Appear for their entrance test
  • Clear the interview

Having NET/GATE can help (sometimes with fellowships or exemptions), but it's not mandatory

Candidates who are Indian citizens and reside in India at the time of application are considered under domestic category. It should be noted that given amount is as per official sources.
