An entrance exams based admission determines OU admission for postgraduate courses. For consideration for admission, students must have completed their UG studies from a well-known institute approved by the UGC. Osmania University will consider applicants' CPGET(Common Post Graduate Entrance Test) scores when considering admission to its PG programs,which is an exam conducted by the University itself. Although the University has not given any information yet regarding the recent cutoff ,but analysis and sources reveal that cutoffs were same for 2017, 2018 and 2019 and that is 25 for General category and 23 for OBC category.

KJSAC offers two courses at the Postgraduate level, namely: M.A and M.Com. Master of Arts (M.A) is being offered in six specializations, namely, History, Philosophy, Psychology, Marathi, Sociology, and English. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to a postgraduate program is a Bachelor's degree in the respective discipline from a recognized institute (or university) with fifty percent marks. Admission of foreign students will be granted in accordance with prospectus and/or on receipt of application through diplomatic channels (I. e. routed through Indian Missions/Ministry of External Affairs) on qualifying the test prescribed for the purpose.
