You can go for Post-Graduation Diploma in Archaeology. The basic eligibility condition is graduation, and a civil engineering graduate can further go for this. You can start your career in this field. Archeology is the study of human history and prehistory through the execution of sites and the analysis of artefacts. This is a good option for other graduates from my opinion, you should not go for this. You should have to stay with civil engineering. This is really a good stream, and you can get more opportunities in this rather than archeology.

Hello Shekargoud,
As the registrations for UGC NET December 2018 is closed now, you have to wait for releasing the notification for UGC NET July 2019. If you aspire for the NET JRF exam, then you can apply for the exam until your age must not exceed 30 years. For the Assistant Professor, you can appear whenever you want because there is no age limit.

To get into a good college, you need to have cleared the eligibility with a good percentage. Also, some institute/colleges may also conduct an entrance test for admission.
