Hi Sayyada, The NET exam is organized for more than 84 subjects through UGC NET and CSIR NET. The Science stream candidates can apply for CSIR NET while other stream candidate can apply for UGC NET. The purpose of both exam is same that is to determine the eligibility of the candidates for assistant professor [posts in colleges and to pursue Ph.D. and for junior research fellowship.
