Hi Sandeep, Students aspiring to pursue this course must have a Master's degree in Law/ Master's degree with M.Phil in Humanities or Social Sciences with degree in Law/ degree in law with Ph.D. in any discipline/ Judge of any State High Court or Supreme Court of India with a minimum three years of experience/ Masters in Taxation and Business Law/ passed Company Secretary by ICSI. The candidates who have cleared UGC NET/JRF, M.Phil and SLET need not give the extra exam conducted by the respective universities for admissions. Course Outlook:
The course generally comprises both full- time and part- time mode. The duration of the full-time course is a minimum of 2 years in the university and a maximum of 3 years for submitting the research articles and publishing in the well-known journal. In case of part-time course, it is a minimum of 3 years in the university and a maximum of 5 years for submitting their research article for evaluation. Thus depending on their performances, the placements are being done.

Hello, The aspirants who have completed Masters in Arts with subjects like sociology and other subjects are definitely eligible to become lecturers and researchers. Students with distance or regular degree from a recognised college or university can appear for the UGC NET Exam. The UGC NET Exam eligibility is that you must not be more than 30 years (35 years for women and reserved candidates). The UGC NET Exam is conducted in the month of July and now you can appear for the UGC NET Exam to be conducted in the month of December. The NET Exam is conducted in two phases- UGC NET Paper 1-https://scoop.eduncle.com/ugc-net-general-paper-research-and-teaching-aptitude and Paper 2. The UGC NET Exam Paper 1 mainly comprises of the questions from the aptitude and Reasoning section while the UGC NET Paper 2 is held in the subject you have completed Master's degree programme.
