If you are doing B.Tech, why do you want to change the field of study from technical to non-technical? It is better to continue B.Tech, and if you really want to do MA, refer to university website for eligibility.

B.Sc with maths is a perfect choice for your future as you have science background, hence you should go for B.Sc.

National Open School is valid in India. But some colleges have different eligibilities for their UG courses. You can go and search on the website of the college.

After doing B.Sc in maths, its not possible to get admission in BHU in Geography or economics as these are specialised subjects. Either, you can get admission at graduation level not at post graduation level.
