So here's the deal: if you've got an MSc in Maths and now want to do a PhD in Anthropology, you can't jump straight in—you'll need to take a little detour. Most Indian unis (like DU) need you to first have a Master's in Anthropology or something related (like Sociology, Life Sciences, etc.). Since Maths doesn't count, your best bet is to do an MA or MSc in Anthropology first. The good news? Science grads like you are often eligible, and places like DU or IGNOU have low fees. Once you've got that degree (with 55%+ marks), you can apply for a PhD through CUET or NET/JRF, submit a research proposal, and boom; you're in the game. If you

Yes, with 83% in Class 12 (non-medical), you can apply to several government colleges in Delhi under Delhi University (DU) that offer BA programs based on merit through CUET scores, but some colleges under IP University or Ambedkar University Delhi may have limited seats available through direct admission or internal procedures. Keep checking their official admission notices for non-CUET options, if any.

Last year, the minimum percentage required for admission to the B.Sc. Psychology program at St. Joseph's College, Kozhikode was around 85% or above for the general category. However, this can vary slightly each year depending on the number of applicants and available seats. Higher marks in relevant subjects like Psychology or Biology may give an added advantage.

Yes,  DU SOL MA admission is mainly entrance-based now. Earlier, the university accepted students on a merit basis, however, now, students need to provide valid scores obtained in CUET PG exam. However, merit-based MA admissions are also done in DU SOL. If seats are not filled in through entrance test scores, remaining seats will be filled with those candidates who applied based on graduation marks only.

Yes you can get admission in Delhi University even after you have not choose psychology as a subject in cuet.

The subject mapping is so impossible in du you have to choose those subjects only those were in your 12th only.

And 1 language and 3 domains from list b will be best to take admission in psychology (any subject you have in your 12th)

But relative to all subjects you need more marks in your cuet due to high competition in psychology courses thank you
