Schools in East Delhi which offer psychology as an additional subject after the completion of the 10th standard can not be generalized but some of them include the following. Most schools whether affiliated to CBSE/DBSE may offer psychology as one of the subject in the senior secondary classes (grades 11 & 12). Flexibility of course structure and availability of such subjects is exercised by few of the well known DPS East, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, and Amity International East Delhi. Yes, you can do the Psychology course even if Psychology was not a subject you had in Class 11 and 12. Most of the universities and colleges allow BA in Psychology or any other related psychology course as a course without taking Psychology as a prerequisite. Mostly, the eligibility criteria involve passing 12th class with a minimum percentage from any stream, whether Arts, Science, or Commerce. Some colleges and universities even hold entrance exams for their intake. It is better to cross-check the requirements in terms of eligibility set by a particular college or university to which you want to get admitted.
