Humber College application fee for Indian students is CAD 75 (Around INR 4,600). This is a non-refundable application fee and can be paid via credit card (Visa or Mastercard). The documents that have to be submitted along with the application are:

  • Scanned copies of original certified Secondary School Graduation transcripts for Diploma and Degree programs
  • College / university transcripts for postgraduate programs and degree programs
  • Official translation of transcripts into English
  • Letter of intent
  • Audition
  • Portfolio

According to some of student reviews, the quality of education is the same for both the colleges – Humber College or Seneca College. However, when it comes to choosing a college, the choice is dependent on the student. Some of the highlights of both the colleges are given below:

Some of the students have a view that the infrastructure is better at Humber College. Also, the area where Humber College is located provides better job opportunities. According to various unofficial sources, Humber College acceptance rate is 70%. Although the acceptance rate justifies that the college is moderately selective at the time of admissions, but the college has itself specified that Humber College’s programs are competitive. Just meeting the minimum Humber College requirements for international students does not guarantee acceptance to the program. The best-qualified students receive the admission offers. Yes, if your course in Canada lasts 6 months or more, you will need a study permit. Usually, the majority of the programs in Humber are of one year duration, so it becomes vital for the students to get the same. Also, the processing time for the permit may be different for every country. However, if the duration of your courses is 6 months or less than 6 months then you are not required to apply for a student visa.

Students are recommended to reach Canada a month before the commencement of their classes so that they get enough time to complete the COVID-19 vaccination or quarantine needs and settle down. They should not arrive earlier than the aforementioned period otherwise the Border Services Officer may deny them entry. It is always good to reach early at your college before your term starts. There are many things that you need to arrange for yourself after reaching Canada. You get enough time to assimilate with the environment and local people.
