The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) in India is held in two formats - the IELTS Paper-delivered method and the IELTS Computer-delivered method. The IELTS paper-delivered test is held 48 times a year, up to 4 times in a given month, mostly on Thursdays and Saturdays. The IELTS Computer-delivered test is held seven days a week and up to 3 times a day to accommodate the large number of candidates looking to take the test. To be admitted to the University of Denver, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 is required, with no band score below 5.5. This criteria is applicable to both undergraduate and graduate programs. Achieving a score of 5.5 in IELTS may not meet the university's minimum English language proficiency requirement, and prospective students should aim for the required IELTS score to enhance their chances for admission. Additionally, it's essential to note that specific graduate programs may set higher English language proficiency test score requirements, so it is recommended to check the particular requirements for your prefered programme of study.

Candidates can reschedule their IELTS test only if the test date is at least 15 days from the date on which they are applying for transfer. IELTS exam dates that are 34 days and beyond can be rescheduled without stating any reason. Candidates would be required to pay a fee for the same.
