For admission to Australian Catholic University MSW course, a minimum overall IELTS score of 7.0 (with a minimum score of 7.0 in all the bands). Applicants can also submit the other equivalent English language test scores as required. Other requirements for admission to MSW course of Australian Catholic University are:
- Must have completed an undergraduate degree from a recognised university that includes a minimum of 8 units (2 full-semesters) of study in Social Sciences;
- Undergraduate units must have at least one unit in Human Behaviour and one unit in Sociology; and
- For international students, a GPA of 5.0 on the ACU 7-point scale

Yes. If you score 7.0 or above in the IELTS examination, your score is considered a good score. Scoring 7.0 or above puts you in a safe zone where you clear cut-offs of most of the universities that require an IELTS score as proof of English-language proficiency. Getting a high score also helps you score well in the Canada Express Entry Pool, thereby increasing your chances of getting a PR. Hence, your aim must be to score as high as possible in any exam. Even though scoring high does not guarantee you a position in the top Universities, it improves your chances.

Candidates looking to go ahead with their IELTS exam registration are required to follow the steps mentioned below:
- Candidates are required to log into their IDP IELTS India website
- They would be then required to select: 'Register for IELTS' to create their IDP IELTS Login
- Candidates would be required to select their preferred test – computer-delivered IELTS/ paper-based IELTS exam
- Candidates would be then required to select their test type/module – Academic or General Training for IELTS (be extremely careful while choosing the module you wish to take)

Band | Skill Level | Description |

| Band 8 | Very good user | Fully operational command of the language with only occasional unsystematic inaccuracies |
| Band 7 | Good user | Has operational command of the language, though with occasional inaccuracies and misunderstandings in some situations |

| Band 5 | Modest user | Has partial command of the language, coping with overall meaning in most situations, though is likely to make many mistakes |

If you give exam on computer, result comes very fast in 3 to 5 days. If you give on paper, you have to wait for 13 days. So if you are in hurry, take computer test.
