IGNOU BEd Entrance Test

For the 2024 academic year,  admission for BAOU distance education courses starts from July 31, 2024. You can apply online via the official website baou.edu.in. The application fee is INR 300.  

To apply for admission, visit Gujarat Common Admission Service (GCAS) portal, after registration log in to the official website of BAOU with the provided credentials. Navigate to the admissions section, select the desired course, and complete the online application form. Upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee to finalize your application.

No, you cannot directly pursue a B.Ed with class 12th and a 3-year Diploma course. To be eligible for a B.Ed one must have graduated. Some universities may also require candidates to have studied certain subjects like science, math, social studies, etc. at the bachelor's level for specific BEd specializations.

As per the exam pattern of IGNOU BEd entrance exam, the time duration of the entrance test is two hours. The exam is conducted in pen-paper based offline mode and there is no negative marking in the exam. There will be 120 questions which candidates will have to answer during this time frame and each question will carry 1 mark each. There will be no negative marking in the IGNOU BEd entrance exam.

As per the official exam pattern of the IGNOU BEd entrance test the exma is conducted in two languages - English and Hindi. Candidates can choose to appear for the exam in either of the languages.
