IGNOU admissions for many undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as BSc, BA, BCA, MBA, MA, and MSc are based on the merit of the last qualifying exam. IGNOU admission is conducted twice a year. IGNOU or Indira Gandhi National Open University, as the name suggests, is an open and distance learning institution. Only a few courses, such as Ph.D. and M.Phil programmes are offered through regular mode. Also, UGC and Allahabad court together have also mentioned that all the degrees from IGNOU will be considered as valid and legitimate as any other regular college degree.

The Bachelor of Arts is a 132 credit programme consisting of the different categories of courses:
i) Twelve Core courses, four from each of the two disciplines and four language core courses.
ii) Two Discipline specific electives from each of the two disciplines,
iii) Two Ability Enhancement compulsory courses.
BA programme of IGNOU? From which— 24 credits are of 3 compulsory courses of 8 credit each. 2) 64 or 56 credits are of the courses of your choice. 3) 8 or 16 credits are of application oriented courses.

The timings for classes for BCA at IGNOU are not specified, as the classes are only held for online mode. IGNOU is university for open/distance learning, so for these classes are not held.
Registration for IGNOU is open, the last date is June 30, 2024.

There is no such course as BTC, the Diploma course you can pursue is CTPM : CERTIFICATE IN TEACHING OF PRIMARY SCHOOL MATHEMATICS.
The programme aims:
