IIIT Allahabad admission 2025 is based on scores obtained in national-level examinations such as JEE Main, DASA UG, GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT, etc. For BTech and M.Tech courses admission, candidates have to take part in the counselling rounds as well. Hence, the seat allotment is through JoSAA and CCMT counselling for BTech and MTech, respectively.

To be eligible for an undergraduate (UG) course at IIIT Allahabad, candidates need to qualify in the JEE Main exam and participate in the JoSAA/CSAB counselling. There is no other way to get admission to the B.Tech programs at IIIT Allahabad. Foreign nationals can apply through DASA based on SAT scores.

IIIT Allahabad BTech CSE cut-off varies from year to year. Considering the IIIT Allahabad JEE Main cutoff 2025 for the sixth round of seat allotment results, the cutoff stood between 6094 and 8050 for the General AI category candidates. In 2025, the CSE cutoff was not released for General AI candidates. Meanwhile, the most competitive course among all the courses is BTech in Information Technology with a cutoff rank of 6094 for the General AI category candidates. Candidates can refer to the table to check out the cut-off over the past three years:
