IIITDM BTech is a four year UG programme focusing on computer science, electronics and communication engineering. For every semester, IIIT Trichy charges a fee of INR 6.5 Lacs to INR 8.1 Lacs and provides 89 seats. For the CSE branch, 21841 marks in the JEE Main exam are required to be admitted to the programme. According to admission records for 2023, the closing grade of CSE branch in round 6 was 18640.

IIITDM Kancheepuram BTech seats are allotted to candidates based on their JEE Main rank. Aspirants are selected for MTech based on GATE or written test conducted by the institute. The seats are allotted via JoSAA/ CSAB Counselling in BTech. Candidates need to have CEED score for admission to MDes. IIITDM Kancheepuram conducts a written test followed by a PI round for admission to PhD programme.

IIITDM Kancheepuram cutoff 2024 had been concluded with the release of Round 6. The Round 6 seat allotment results includes the cutoffs only for M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence) in which the cutoff score stood at 456 for the General AI category. So, as per the cutoff data, the admission with a percentile of 70 is possible for the General AI category candidates.
Similarly, for the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff score stood at 353. With this, we can say that the candidates seeking admission at IIITDM Kancheepuram can easily get admission under OBC and General category.

Yes, definitely, you can get admission at IIITDM Kancheepuram, if you score well in DASA UG. IIITDM Kancheepuram offers BTech courses through DASA UG exam. The minimum criteria to appear in DASA UG examination is to get a minimum percentile of 60 or equivalent grade in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. So, at 60 percentile, anyone can appear for DASA UG and get into IIITDM Kancheepuram.

IIITDM Kancheepuram accepts DASA UG score for the admission to BTech courses. IIITDM Kancheepuram current admission are scheduled to be announced in 2025. Meawhile, the IIITDM Kancheepuram cutoff 2023 was ranged from 412 to 954 for the General AI category candidates. As per the cutoff data, we can assume that for the upcoming session, the required rank will stand between a range of 300 to 900. And, for the BTech in CSE specifically, candidates have to acquire a rank nearly at 500.
