While, it is impossible to pursue full-time regular MBA from Iims without CAT as it is a mandatory criteria for admission, there are other MBA courses candidates can opt for if they don't want to appear in CAT or don't have valid CAT score, The overall qualifying CAT cut-off for IIM Ahmedabad shortlist is 80 percentile for General Category, 75 percentile for NC-OBC, Transgender Categories, 70 for SC and PwD Categories and 60 for ST Category. The IIM Ahmedabad shortlisting process has begun and the institute has sent letters to eligible candidates. For IIM Ahmedabad Admission process :- Stage 1- The first stage is appearing for the Common Aptitude Test or CAT Exam conducted by the Iims (GMAT for international candidates). You can also browse for some more premier institutions giving equally good academic facilities of good faculty, infrastructure, live projects, seminars, exposure, platform, scholarships, placements etc. I know the web site of LPU which would inform you the eligibility for a course, admission criteria as well as the scholarship for which you would be eligible including the scholarships it offers to aid education in such grim conditions of COVID. The entrance test syllabus and paper pattern too is given. It has also been ranked as one of the best B schools. You can also try Symbiosis, a name to reckon with because of its experienced faculty. Sectional and overall cutoff minimum percentiles of CAT as under.
1. Verbal and Reading Comprehension percentile rank (PVRC) : 70
2. Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning percentile rank (PDILR) : 70
3. Quantitative Aptitude percentile rank (PQA) : 70
4. Overall percentile rank (PT) : 80
But for admissions in asked IIM, you needs to score above 99 CAT percentile. The academic performance, work experience, GD and PI are the other components plays vital role in selection of a candidate. The academic performance rating for reference is given below.
1. For 10th more than 60% : 3 ( 10 rating for score 90%)
2. For 12th more than 60% : 3 ( 10 rating for score 90%)
3. For graduation more than 60% : 3 ( 10 rating for score 70%)
