If you are planning for MIM then 3.5 years of experience is more than enough for you. If you are looking to do MBA abroad then you need to consider having a few more years of work experience. So yes, you can go ahead with your GMAT and accordingly apply to colleges according to your career plan.

I would suggest you to pursue PGPX from IIM A or EPGP from IIM-B. Both are equally reputed courses to pursue to help you kick-start your professional career.

Yes it is. With the implementation of IIM Bill, now IIMs can also offer MBA degrees.

Your acads are on the lower side for a call. Still I would suggest you to secure very high CAT percentile (upwards of 99.8 percentile) for increasing your chances for a call.

Top parameters for selection into a top B-School in India: A good CAT score, good academics, good work-experience and of course, a good performance in the interviews.

Your acads are below par for a call from IIM A. I would suggest you to look for colleges like FMS which do not give any weight-age to you past acads!

Your class 12th score are below par for getting a call from IIM A/B. Other IIMs might call you in case you manage to secure a very high percentile.

It has a huge importance when it comes to admissions into top IIMs. For instance, it constitutes 40% of the final score for deciding the admission for a student at IIM-A.

Your acads are not good enough for a call from IIM A. Having said that i would suggest you to give your best in your bachelors and CAT exams and leave the rest to the selection criteria. You can always apply for colleges like FMS which do not give weight-age to your acads while offering you admission.

Yes, you can, provided you clear the cutoff and IIM A considers you good enough to give you a call! Being a doctor, you might get a call at low percentile compared to other engineering graduates! We do have a few doctors in every PGP batch.
