You need an exceptionally good CAT percentile to stand a chance. Don't lose hope, keep working.

You should aim for at least 99.5 percentile otherwise chances are bleak.

No, MBA stands for Masters in Business administration which itself includes at least little numerical. In MBA HR, you might find little finance or accounts, however, little numerical will be there. For the first year of MBA, you will have to study the basic finance.

No, for doing MBA, you need a bachelor's degree. There is no provision of getting the direct admission without that.
Thank you.

Hi, yes you are eligible for CAT. You just need to do a planned study in math since you feel you are weak in that subject. Being an experienced person in the same field I would like to suggest you to solve practice question papers as many as you can, this will help you in scoring and accuracy in your answer.
Good Luck.

Some IIMs do have points for work experience, but there are freshers who enter every year based on their stellar record in academics and extra curricular activities.

Nothing is certain, but you may still end up with a call being a non-engineer.

You are at a slight disadvantage, but getting good grades in a non - engineering graduation course combined with a good cat percentile may get you a call from IIMA.
