Getting a call for WAT- PI depends on your composite score that is calculated by giving appropriate weights to several factors. Check the weightage in admission procedure here-http://www.iimidr.ac.in/academic-programmes/post-graduate-program-in-management/pgp-indore-admissions-details/.
So, it depends on how many people have more composite score than you.

IPM application procedure at IIM Indore was from March 16 to April 18. There is no provision of late application submission by paying late fee. You will now have to apply for IPM next year.

Of course, the institute and course both are good enough. It's basically a short cut to an IIM and is thus a considerable option. The IPMers in their 4th and 5th year get merged with the PGP batch and thus gets same facilities, professors and exposure. Initially, recruiters weren't willing to take in IPM participants but now their acceptance has greatly increased. Frankly, IPM is not BBA+MBA but just IPM, in which it's optional to do undergraduate from IGNOU alongside, concurrently.

This is not a BBA+MBA graduate course. The IIMs are not allowed to offer degrees as of now. At the end of 5 years, you will get a Diploma. As to pursuing doctoral programs, there is no precedence for this as no student has opted for it till now, who was a participant in this course. But one thing is for sure, you won't have to give CAT to pursue those.
