Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow offers Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGPWE) and International Programme in Management (IPMX) for working executives. Admission to these programmes is completely entrance-based. Moreover, it is also necessary that the aspirants fulfil the course-specific minimum eligibility requirements. For selection, applicants must hold a minimum work experience of three years for PGPWE and five-years for IPMX.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at IIM Lucknow, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of IIM Lucknow are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:

• Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
• Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
• Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.

Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow provides admission to FPM courses based on GMAT/CAT/GRE/CSIR NET score followed by a personal interview round. IIM Lucknow also offers Fellowship Programme for Management to students with a master's degree. Apart from the FPM course, this Management institute also offers a part-time non-residential Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM).

It is compulsory that each of the aspirant fulfils the minimum eligibility requirement and hold the relevant documents for verification as well. Candidate needs to complete a bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate and a minimum of three years full-time post-qualification (after graduation) work experience as on December 31, of the admission year to apply for the PGPWE course.
