The candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate for General category students. Students belonging to the SC/ST/PWD (DA) category will be given a concession of 5% in the total aggregate. This means, the candidates belonging to these categories should have a minimum of 55% aggregate to qaulify for the exam. Moreover, the selection process includes IPM Aptitude Test. To qualify for the exam, candidates must check the IPMAT syllabus and preparation strategy.

IIM Rohtak is ranked as the sixth-best B-School in North India and the eighth-best Government College among all Management Institute. IIM Rohtak stands fifth in personality development and industry exposure parameter, whereas, in parameters, selection process, and admission, IIM Rohtak is one of the top ten. Indian Institutes of Management Rohtak has also been ranked 12 by NIRF ranking 2023 under the Management category. The total fees for the flagship course of IIM Rohtak i.e. Post Graduate Programme (PGP) payable by the students is INR 18 lakh. The duration of the course is for two years. The course is divided into four terms. Moreover, candidates who want IIM Rohtak PGP admission need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for admissions is that candidate should have passed Class 12 and bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate. The entrance exam accepted is the CAT exam followed by an online personal interview.

According to the NIRF Ranking 2023 in Management category, IIM Rohtak has been ranked 12 whereas IIM Udaipur has been ranked 16. Comparing the highest package, during the latest IIM Rohtak placements, the highest package offered was INR 48.25 LPA whereas the highest package offered during IIM Udaipur placements was INR 35.04 LPA. Candidates can choose according to the preferences.

The highest domestic package offered during IIM Rohtak placements 2024 was INR 48.25 LPA whereas the highest package offered during IIM Raipur placements 2023 was INR 43.4 LPA. Moreover, when we compare with the NIRF ranking 2023 in Management category, IIM Rohtak has been ranked 12 and IIM Raipur has been ranked 11. Both the colleges have good facilities and infrastructure.
