IIM Shillong is spread across 120 acres. No, IIM Shillong course admission are strictly entrance based. Interested candidates need to appear for the relevant entrance exam accepted by IIM Shillong for admission. Some of the accepted exams are CAT, MAT, GMAT, GRE, etc.

The final CAT cutoff for IIM Shillong admission ranges between 90 to 93 percentile.

The IIM Shillong qualifying CAT 2022 cut off was 90 percentile with a sectional cutoff of 75 percentile. Candidate who secure the required CAT percentile are invited for further rounds of selection, the WAT and GP-PI round. In 2023 admission process of all IIMs, WAT was not conducted.  

For final admission, the college assess the performance of the candidate in CAT & GD-PI round, and the profile of the candidate.

Candidates seeking admission to IIM Shillong MBA are required to appear for CAT. Candidates who clear the CAT cut off for IIM Shillong admission will be invited to appear for further rounds of selection.

After CAT, the candidate are required to appear for the GD-PI round and a Written ability Test. The final admission offers are made on the basis of performance of the candidates in CAT, GD-PI, WAT and overall profile.
