The SOP should mention the background of the student, motivation of the aspirants to pursue research, area of research of their interest and any details that aspirant does not mention in the application form.

Candidates need to pass a master's degree in any discipline with at least 60% aggregate or a two-year PG diploma with at least 60% marks along with a bachelor's degre with at least 50% aggregate to apply for IIM Sirmaur PhD course. Aspirants who have passed a five-year integrated master's degree with at least 60% in any discipline or a professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 50% along with a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate can also apply.

Yes, IIM Sirmaur recorded 100% placements for MBA programme during placement drive 2023. Further, the summer placement rate recorded during MBA and MBA Tourism summer placements for the batch of 2023-25 was also 100%.

Yes, placements at IIM Sirmaur are good. The overall average package offered during IIM Sirmaur placements 2025 stood at INR 13.3 LPA. Earlier, the average package offered during MBA and MBA Tourism placements 2024 stood at INR 13.93 LPA and INR 13.32 LPA, respectively. Apart from this, the median package offered during IIM Sirmaur placements 2024 for MBA and MBA Tourism programs stood at INR 12.49 LPA and INR 12 LPA, respectively.

According to media reports, the highest stipend offered to the MBA batch of 2023-25 stood at INR 2 lakh. Earlier, the the highest and average package offered during IIM Sirmaur placements 2023 for MBA stood at INR 64.12 LPA and INR 14.45 LPA, respectively. 100% of the MBA batch 2023 were placed.

There are a total of 180 seats for the MBA programmes offered by the institute. Hence, there are 60 seats each under the each course specialisations. The institute further follows the reservation policies of the government of India. In addition, the seat intake mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. However, it is subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

Yes, IIM Sirmaur has good infrastructure. As per Shiksha verified review, "The infrastructure is really good. There is constant connectivity through Wi-Fi at all parts of the campus. The library is well-equipped with all your academic needs and the classrooms are spacious. The hostel rooms are spacious with the choice of single or double rooms. Moreover, the scenery is beautiful. The food is good (compared to average hostel standards). There are all kinds of sports facilities available ranging from football, cricket, badminton to billiards, carrom, chess etc.")
