Every student is required to complete a mandatory non-credit course on "Happiness" in their first year. Additionally, they must complete a week-long "Bharat Immersion Programme" internship as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) course requirements to understand rural or social realities.

IIM Trichy Chennai Campus offers postgraduate course to students. This programme provides in-class learning experience to students. The sessions are conducted every Sat and Sunday from 1:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The course includes Core Course, Electve Courses, and Capstone Industry Projects. After completion of the course, students will receive an MBA Degree. The classes will commence in the May 2026.

IIM Trichy gives scholarship programmes to support PG (postgraduate) etc. programme students in their education. The following are details of the scholarships that are available for students:

No, direct admissions are not available at IIM Trichy Chennai Campus. Students must either clear the aptitude tests or submit the entrance examination scores. The accepted entrance examinations are CAT, and others. 

The mode of IIM Trichy Chennai Campus course admissions is online. Students who wish to get admissions must first visit the official site. Then, click on the Apply Now option. Then, select the needed programme & pay the admission fee. 

Admission to various courses is based on merit and scores and entrance examinations. The accepted entrance examinations are CAT, GMAT, GRE etc. If the students have valid scores in these entrance tests, they are exempted from the IIMT Aptitude test. Also, students must have secured 50% in graduation.
