EMAT 2024: Exam Dates, Application Form (Out), Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

EMAT exam is conducted in four phases in a year. Candidates can apply for the next session if not applied. However candidates are advised to stay updated with the EMAT application form last date for each phase. EMAT registration 2024 has commenced on July 25, 2023. EMAT application fee can be paid in online mode only. Candidates filling the application form in online or offline mode will have to pay the EMAT application form online. No other mode for payment of EMAT application fee is accepted. Candidates can make the online EMAT application fee payment of INR 2000 (plus taxes as applicable). To pay the fee candidates can choose any of the following modes:

1)    Credit/Debit Card (Visa, Master, Maestro, RuPay)

2)    Internet Banking (Bank transaction charges for online payment will have to be borne by the candidate)

To appear for EMAT exam, candidates must ensure to fulfill the below prescribed EMAT eligibility criteria before filling the application form:

• A Bachelor's Degree (as per the latest UGC Norms) or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate mark or equivalent CGPA.
• In the case of an absence of a dulyrecognisedbachelor's degree, candidate with a minimum aggregate percentage of 50 in CA/ICWA/CS can apply for the programme.
• The degree obtained from a foreign University subject to producing the equivalency certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities) or any Govt. of India approved assessment agency, or an Indian University approved by UGC along with the proof of aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the programme completed.
• Three Years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after successful completion of graduation as on the date of application.

EMAT 2024 application form has been released on July 25, 2023. Candidates willing to appear for Entrance exam will be able to fill the EMAT application form in both online and offline modes. To fill the EMAT 2024 registration form in offline mode, refer the steps mentioned below:

Candidates preparing for General Management section of EMAT exam must solve ample of EMAT mock test to become familiar with the types of questions expected in the question paper. By solving the previous year sample papers and mock tests candidates can assess the difficulty level of the section and prepare accordingly.

No, EMAT exam does not have sectional time limit to appear for the exam. However, students will be required to complete the exam in pre informed exam duration i.e, two hours and no extra time will be granted to the students under any circumstances. EMAT is a computer-based online exam the test screen will move from first section to the next section only when the candidate clicks the next button. Candidates have to be mindful of the on-screen timer and pre-decide the number of questions to solve in each section as there will be negative markings. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in EMAT exam so candidates can devise a strategy to use the exam duration as per their strength and weakness. Candidates must reach the exam centre at least an hour prior to complete the frisking formalities at the EMAT exam centre.

Yes, there is negative marking for every rong answer in EMAT exam. As per the Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) marking scheme for every correct answer candidate will get one mark and for every wrong answer 0.5 mark will be deducted. There will be no negative marking for unattempted questions. As per the EMAT exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 30 Multiple Choice Questions, of one mark each. There will be no sectional time limit. Candidates can start answering from any section they are comfortable with. The EMAT exam is conducted for a duration of one hour.

Executive Management Aptitude Test or EMAT is conducted in four phases in a year. Candidates who will register for the entrance exam will be able to access the EMAT admit card on their registered email address. The registrations for EMAT 2024 has commenced on July 25, 2023 for first phase. The dates for the other phases has been declared by IIM Kochi. EMAT 2024 admit card will be sent to the registered candidates soon after the registrattion process is completed. Only candidates who will complete the registration process along with the payment of application fee will be sent the EMAT admit card on their registered contact details.

EMAT admit card for the applied phase will be sent to the candidates on their registered email ID. Only candidates who will register successfully for the EMAT exam will be able to download the EMAT admit card when released. To download the EMAT admit card, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below:

EMAT 2024 exam will be conducted in multiple phases during a year. The EMAT 2023 first phase examination will be held on September 09 and September 10, 2023. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to check their scores online. The EMAT results 2024 for first phase will be announvced on September 15, 2023. The results are usually announced within the 7-10 days from the date of conduct of exam. Candidates will be issued the offer letter to join the programme on their registered email address or mobile number. IIM K personal interviews are conducted along with the EMAT examination for admission to Executive Post Graduate Program of IIM Kochi. Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) is conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode for admission to Executive Management of Business Administration (EMBA). The examination is a in computer based mode, wherein candidates will have to report at the designated exam centre. EMAT exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes. Candidates must attempt 30 questions within the given time duration. No provision for extra time is applicable for students appearing for EMAT. EMAT 2024 notification has been released on July 25, 2023. Candidates seeking admission to Executive Masters in Business Administration programme must stay updated with the exam dates. EMAT 2024 notification mentions the important dates pertaining to application form, EMAT exam, results and Personal Interviews. The EMAT notification also mentions the admission process and eligibility criteria for admission to EMBA programme of IIM Kochi. The EMAT 2024 exam will be conducted in four phases. Candidates can know the important dates for each phase on release of the EMAT 2024 notification. Candidates will be able to register for the exam soon after the notification is released. 

EMAT 2024 application form link has been activated at the iimk.ac.in. on official website on July 25, 2023. Aspirants must visit the official website- iimk.ac.in to register for EMAT 2024 and submit the application form before the deadline. The EMAT 2024 application process includes filling of personal details, experience, uploading of relevant academic documents and payment of fees, without which the application will not be submitted. There will be several sections in EMAT 2024 application form- personal details, academic details, work experience, programmes, exam centre preference and fee payment.

In personal details section, the candidates will have to enter details such as name, date of birth, father's name, category, gender, nationality, communication address, email ID, mobile phone number, etc. 

In academic details section of the form, candidates must enter class 10th and 12th exam scores, Bachelor's degree details and marksheet and details of other postgraduate programme/professional courses (if any).

In Work Experience section, candidates must fill relevant work-experience if any, they need to fill in details such as name of the company, duration, etc.

At last, candidates must pay the EMAT application fee. The application fee can be paid in online mode only.

Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) is conducted by IIM Kozhikode for admission to Executive PGP of IIM Kochi. EMAT is coducted four times in a year. Candidates can appear for the EMAT exam as per their preference. EMAT 2024 exam dates has been announced in last week of July 2023. The exam will be conducted in offline mode. Once the EMAT 2024 registration form is submitted, candidates will not be allowed to make changes in it. In case, you've made errors, you need to fill a fresh EMAT application form and pay the fees again. There is no provision for editing details in the application form after the EMAT registration process concludes. No request for changes in the EMAT application form will be accepted by the examination authorities. Thus, it is very important to fill the EMAT application form correctly with valid details. Candidates must keep the important documents such as Aadhaar card, class 10, class 12, graduation certificates, birth Certificate address proof, work experience documents, etc. 

To fill the EMAT 2024 application form, candidates must keep the following documents/information ready:

• Scanned color photograph of the candidate
• Scanned self-attested copies of the following academic records (Class 10 onwards):

 i) Class 10 /SSLC Certificate

 ii) Pre-Degree/Plus-Two/HSC/VHSC mark sheet & certificate

 iii) All mark sheets & certificate of GraduationorProfessional Qualification, as applicable,

 iv) All mark sheets & certificate of Post-Graduation (If applicable)

• Score Sheets of CAT / GMAT, (if opted)
• Work Experience Certificate (s) for the last 3 years
• Photo Identity proof (Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/AADHAR Card)
• Gazette Notification in case there is a change in Name
• Employee ID card, if available
• Category/Relaxation certificate from the competent authority (if opted)
